AL-CON İNŞAAT

The construction company Al-con Ltd. was founded in 2001. However the decision to start building in Alanya was made somewhat by chance. Going to Turkey The university-trained engineer Jan Albrechtsen, one of the founders of the company Al-con, had been working for 11 years as an engineer with an academic degree for the contractor Per Aarslef Ltd. For 8 of these 11 years he was the administrative manager for the German section of the company. During his last 4 years, he ran his own company in parallel. This company specialised in counselling within the windmill industry and Jan was planning to start this company in Turkey as well. When the holiday time drew nearer, Jan Albrechtsen therefore bought an open ticket to a random destination in Turkey. The name of the destination was Alanya. Jan Albrechtsen quickly settled down in Alanya and ended up buying an apartment in the city. This was his first introduction to the real estate market in Turkey and he experienced the many difficulties which can arise when buying property of a poor building standard. The establishment of Al-Con Jan Albrechtsen went to buy a satellite dish for his new apartment and met the owners of the satellite dish company Öncu Digital, Tamer Yalcin and Önder Öndü. The three men started talking about the real estate market and the problems which can arise for a foreigner when buying property in Turkey. One of the biggest problems was the standard of building which overall was very poor, far lower than people from Northern Europe are used to. Thus, Jan Albrechtsen, Tamer Yalcin and Önder Öndü decided to try an experiment which could help raise the standard of building in Alanya. The experiment aimed firstly at combining Jan Albrechtsen’s large experience within the construction industry with the large network of the two others and then selling newly built good quality homes in Alanya to sun loving Europeans. A great success The concept for the first project situated in Ciplakli near Alanya was that Tamer Yalcin and Önder Öndü contributed the building sites while Jan Albrechtsen was in charge of the building itself. The project exceeded everyone’s expectations. Everything was sold and the rest is history! Today, Al-con is a well-established construction company in Alanya with an excellent reputation. So far the company has provided both the construction and sale of more than 300 good quality homes in Alanya and its environs.
